8 teas match

This is not a quiz with invented personality buckets. The picker filters the same tea profiles used by the guides and brewing tools, so a result points to real site data: caffeine level, best time of day, flavour notes, and whether the tea has a mug or gaiwan path.

How the filter actually works

Within one facet, choices are flexible: "morning" or "afternoon" can both match. Across facets, the picker is strict: if you choose evening + low caffeine + mug, the tea has to satisfy all three.

The current catalogue has eight tea profiles:

NeedLikely matches from the current catalogue
Evening with no caffeineHerbal
Evening with low caffeineWhite
Gaiwan / gongfu practiceBlack, green, oolong, sheng puerh, shu puerh
Earthy and smoothShu puerh
Fresh and greenGreen, matcha, white

Every result links to its full profile and, when possible, to the right tool preset: gongfu-ready teas jump to the brewing timer; simpler mug paths jump to the grams calculator with the tea preset already selected.

The catalogue is small and honest on purpose — it grows as new, properly written tea profiles are added, and the picker picks them up automatically.
